At my 18 week scan the doctor saw spots on my baby’s brain and she said they were cysts in the choroid plexus.

She said there normal and usually go away but they sometimes see it in Down syndrome also. So now I’m just worried and concerned and confused. When they check me for the Down syndrome test she said the risk was very low but since she told me that they see cyst in Down syndrome I’m scared and worried I’m about to be 25 weeks.

Did this happen to you , were you at low risk and they found cyst in your baby’s brain and they had Down syndrome? Did your baby’s cyst go away... were they ok was everything normal at birth and after... please help .
