What do I do?

I’ve been trying to get my 5 year old son to sleep for an hour he keeps leaving his room and coming me and my husbands room. I need help on what to do I’m tired and I’m out of ideas. Thanks!

Offer to let him look at books or choose a quiet toy to play with if he is not tired yet.

I would give him a little cuddle and let him know that you need him to go to sleep in his own bed. Remind him that his bed is safe and cozy and that there’s no need to be afraid. Tell him that once he falls asleep, you will come back to check on him. Make sure he doesn’t need something like the potty. If he does it again, less talking… your bed is safe and I need you to sleep there. He will get tired of it eventually.

My mom would stay in my brothers room with him on the bed until he fell asleep. It worked pretty good since he now sleeps alone. :)

Give him hot milk and go lay in his bed with him 
my son is 2 and he can only sleep if he’s had his milk, a cuddle and I sing too him bare in mind I can’t sing too save my life but he loves it and his has been going on for a little over a year, sometimes I just let him stay in my bed cause he really like cuddles, I fall asleep with him sometimes as well and he’s a mummy’s boy, he wanna be wherever I am 😂, but sometimes I wait an hour and put him in his cot, and put my pillow or dressing gown in with him so he can think I’m with him
