I am scheduled for a c section around 39 weeks for low lying placenta. I will be there for 3-4 nights. I have heard that the hospital provides all sanitary things for me- pads, mesh panties, etc. Has this been others’ experience? If so I won’t weigh down my bag with this kind of stuff. I’m planning to bring my own clothes and toiletries. My main question is what to bring for baby, since it will be there for 3-4 days too. Do I provide the diapers during this time? What about clothes? I can’t imagine hospitals dress them for 3 days. Initially I was planning to just bring a swaddling blanket and going home outfit, but now I’m thinking I may have to bring baby clothes for 3-4 days. Any advice and info on your experience is appreciated!
