Jump start labor?

Has anyone tried taking evening primrose oil to start your labor? If so did it work for you? And how far along were you and did you take it orally or vaginally?

I took evening primrose oil vaginally for two nights when I was almost 39 weeks. One tablet the first night and two the second (plus sex) and I went into labor the next evening

It won’t jump start your labour it will soften the cervix. I’ve seen some women comment on how they increased their weekly dosage from 1-4 pills a Day & inserting 1 overnight.

Have you tried stimulating your nipples lol? going on a swing? eating a pineapple core? Sex?

With my last baby I did use it for the first time. I started at 36 weeks. Not because I wanted baby out, but because they were going to induce with  him at 37 weeks. I didn’t want to end up with a c section. It didn’t jump start my labor it only help thin and soften my cervix.

I had sex doctors told me not to because sperm can start labor or somthing like that idk it's probably on Google

Be careful with evening primrose oil! I was thinking about using it until I read more about it and people on here were saying that it caused them to hemorrhage after birth from extra blood loss. It turns out that is a side effect of using the evening primrose oil.
