Did you fail your one hour glucose test, only to pass the 3 hour glucose test?

Ladies, satisfy my curiosity ! I got a call from my doctor saying I failed my one hour glucose test, and I need to go in on Wednesday and take the three hour test. I have a good friend who just failed her one hour and passed her three hour, she posted on a mommy Facebook page we are both on about it, and it seems a lot of moms have had similar experiences. I found one source online (not necessarily a reliable one) that said 70%of women fail the first test, and that 2/3 of those women pass the second test! It just seems so crazy to me! I’m wondering what you all have to say about this! How common is it really? You’d think if this is the case, there would be better ways to test for GD by now. Thanks in advance for your answers!

PS. Cross your fingers for me I pass the three hour test, even though the odds just might be in my favor!
