Discipline??

I’ve seen on here that some moms “hit hands lightly” or “give a spank or slap”

I’m completely against hitting my children but I’m coming around the corner of having to start to discipline my oldest daughter who’s 20months.

She’s very well behaved for the most part and understands the word no...but how do I discipline when she doesn’t listen to the word no??

Usually I remove her from whatever she’s doing and that just results in a temper tantrum..I’d like to get a grasp on this before it gets out of hand!
