Fighting hard

My sweet baby boy was born Tuesday 3/20. After 30 long and painful hours of natural labor I had to have an emergency c-section. My poor sweet boy was face up and wrapped in the cord three times. Every time I had a contraction it squeezed him. He was without oxygen for 5 min and rushed to NICU. The first 24hours were the longest and scariest ones of my life. I had to prepare myself for the worst and hope for the best. But it's been 3 days now and he has made amazing progress! Soon I will be able to hold my little baby for the first time. But we still don't know when he will be coming home. Praying for my little boy he is a fighter.

UPDATE: Little man is doing great! He's breathing on his own, taking milk, chest tube comes out today, and I get to hold him! Doctors think he will be able to come home Tuesday if his MRI looks good!
