Light period

Just wanna ask something nd to clarify also. So i had my 21days pill (BC)and me and my boyfriend had sex nd came inside me. I got my period but its four times lighter than my usual period. Is this a sign of pregnancy? i only had 3days of period. Or is this an effect of birth control?
