Had to take 2 one hour glucose tests

Lori

At 27 weeks I passed my first test “with flying colors” according to my OBGYN. As some of you may know, I’ve been in the hospital due to preterm labor since the 28th of February. They do an ultrasound each week to check on baby and fluid levels. She was 3lbs 10oz when I came in at 30 weeks and at 33 weeks she was measuring at 6lbs 1oz. So Maternal Fetal Medicine assumes I have GD. I wasn’t annoyed by the fact that I had to take the test again, (better safe than sorry) I was annoyed because they woke me up at 6am to poke me for a blood draw, then make me drink that crap at 6:30am, poke me again at 7:30 am and then give me freaking lucky charms for breakfast. I’m staring at the bowl like 🤢 no more sugar...

I saw my results when the nurse had the screen pulled up. They tested my blood draw three times. I wonder if they thought they messed up. It came up 102, 100 and 104. They finally went with the 102.
