cord around baby's neck?

i had my 31 week scan today. all was great thank God , except baby had tied 2 times around his neck the ombelical cord. has anyone had a case like mine and hiw are my chances that the cord goes away ?

From what I've seen and read, once his head is out they have you stop pushing for a minute and remove them from his neck real quick. Then let you finish pushing. Its good your doc knows now so they'll be prepared for it when the time comes.

my daughter was born with the cord wrapped around her neck twice. they had me stop pushing and cut it away. there wasn't much for dad to cut and it had already been "cut" anyway but she saved a portion for him to snip away. we did not know about it before hand. I assume they will jist keep a good check on baby through delivery
