Baby shower help??

So my sister will be in town mid June but I am due July 5th. Should I have the shower before or wait for her? I went full term with my first so hoping I don't go that early lol

Me personally I’d do it before. The shower is for you and baby not auntie. Also how do you feel about it? I know I like to have my shower early so I can have that out of the way before baby and I can actually enjoy the shower. However I knew someone who had a baby shower at 40 weeks and actually went past her due date so it worked for her.

If having your sister there is important to you, I personally think you're safe to wait. Yes it's possible you'll have the baby at 37 weeks but not likely if you had a previous full term birth. If you'd be okay just celebrating with your sister alone when she comes then do it earlier.
