home Doppler sounds?

I’ve tried my home doppler once before, and I only found my own heartbeat. so I think I found the babies today, I’m 10w5d. it was about 165, but it didn’t sound like horses like everyone says? I kinda have a cheaper one so it was more like just very quick beats, not like at the doctor. that wouldn’t be the placenta or anything else right? I’m sorry it’s just confusing, but at the doctor the HR was 163 so I thought that should be it

I wouldn’t trust what the Doppler says. When I hit my heart rate it sometimes says 130 which I know isn’t true. It’s best to go by sound only. If it’s the placenta/ your heart rate it sounds like a swishing sound. The baby is much faster and doesn’t sounds like a switch at all. YouTube the difference

If it was 165 it was your baby and the placenta sounds like a swishing sound the baby sounds like a fast heartbeat but a lot think it sounds like horses. I also have a Doppler I got mine for $30 at jc penny’s but it resembles the ones in the hospital. I had watched a ton of YouTube videos before I tried and can find my lil one every time. The funny part is the dr sometimes has a hard time finding him so he will let me try and I find he under 30 sec. so don’t listen to negatives it does take a while to find sometimes 😁oh and if you hear the placenta ( the swishing) baby’s heart will be close by... remember that 😉

It all depends ! I’m 19 weeks and only just found mind at 16 weeks, mine sounds EXACTLY like horses lol especially since I can hear the difference between mine and nugget. Don’t stress too much ♥️

If it stayed consistently around 165ish then that should be it! Nothing else down there will make a Doppler  stay that high!
