Talk to your doctor before starting any multivitamins during pregnancy. Unless the prescribe them, you could harm yourself or the baby. My grandma heard that vitamin B12 boosts energy, so she went to an herbalist and had injections every week for a year. She ended up having a heart attack at the end of the year— they attributed it to too much vitamin B causing changes in her hearts rhythm and causing her heart rate to increase the first two days after the injections. Iron is another supplement than can help if given in the right dosages and for the right reasons, but you can overdo it and make yourself really sick! So I would say ask your doctor before you take anything- not worth risking your health or babies.

everyone should take multivitamins , with your doctors advice always, which has iron too. every month do your blood and check for you hemoglobine levels.
