I’ve finally built the courage to leave my emotionally abusive husband. We live I Florida and our son is in Augusta, Georgia. I am going to live in Augusta on Monday. I want my child to live with me and his aunt. He keeps saying I don’t have sufficient employment to have him live with me. He wants our son to stay with his parents whom have him now in Augusta. I want my child with me. What can I do?

my opinion, think about whats best for your kid. you have no income. will you be able to provide better for your son? if you struggle, thats going to affect your son. if you cant manage to keep him again, that's going to affect your son to be bouncing around. get your feet on the ground and help yourself while you can and prepare a good foundation before you bring your son home. the quicker you do that, the better it will be for the both of you.
