6mm lining on CD10 (day before ovulation)
Hi guys,
I’m hoping for some advice. This past month was my first time on femara 2.5, I had used provera to induce a period before hand. All previous testing showed my lining was great.
When I had went in on cd10 I had a follicle of 10mm and another of 23mm on the right side but my lining was only 6mm. The following day I had went back for another ultrasound and my 23mm egg had dropped and my lining had thickened to 9mm.
The doctor continued to say how 6 mm lining wasn’t ideal but I was confused if I ovulate the next day and my lining had thickened wouldn’t that be sufficient for implantation? Why is the 6mm on CD 10 prior to ovulation relevant if implantation won’t occur at that time? Do I have a higher risk of miscarrying because of the thin lining if I were to be pregnant?
