Single moms?

Has anyone had their spouse leave them during a pregnancy? I have an almost 5 year old that starts school in sept, I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and my husband got mad over such a stupid thing and his favorite thing to say to me to try and get me to do what he wants is to tell me that he's leaving and I don't take that shit so I say then leave, he never does in the end, but this time was different. He was either going to kill my cat or me and he came at me and stuck his finger in my face and said get rid of it or I leave and I said fine leave but I'm not giving up my cat again for you and if your going to leave then actually leave and don't just threaten it. So I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to do this. I haven't told anyone yet he said this, it all happened yesterday and he said he wouldn't be back tonight and it's the last I'm going to see of him. I run a small daycare and I make just enough to pay rent and insurance but then I only have 150$ roughly for the rest of the time. My mom has said I'll get more kids once my son goes to school so I guess I could do it if I pinch my penny's for a while and buckle down on everything. I love my husband and our son loves him too and I just don't know what I would do. How do I explain to my 5 year old why his dad left us. I couldn't let him see him cuz what if he takes him and doesn't come back or he gets hurt with him if his dad looses his temper. I couldn't trust anyone. I don't trust anyone to take care of my son the way I do.
