Measuring behind?

If I'm 37.5 weeks but my stomach is measuring 36 weeks, what does that mean? My doctor didn't say anything about it besides that it was measuring behind. Is it a bad thing? Should I be worried?

I always measured smaller with my daughter they were always scheduling ultrasounds to check if she was growing ok and every time she was fine. She was born at 39 weeks and weighed 8lbs 7ozs i wouldn't worry:)

My doctor told me at the end, fundal measurements aren't as accurate due to drop and the position of the baby. I measured 32-33 at my 35 and he had no concerns. She's moving well and her heartrate is good. I would not worry.

I know from experience one week behind is fine. I am measuring 31w at 35w. That is when they are concerned. As long as baby is measuring on track then they don't worry too much.

My doctor said it isn't technically behind unless it's 2 greater or less than what your current week is. You're fine!

Nope. My dr said measuring 2 cm behind or ahead is normal. Anything more and they would get an ultrasound to check things out. So your good!
