Stress as cause of miscarriage?

What do you ladies think? Does stress cause a miscarriage? My husband and I got in a huge fight tonight and I can't help but think I harmed the baby. We were just at doctors today and saw the baby and everything looks good. Does anyone have input about stress and does it cause a miscarriage?

I was told extreme stress can cause early MC's. Long term effects is low birth weight. But that is like extreme stress all day every day 24/7.

Thank you ladies. It was a fight over money and u have been stressed out all week because of it. He doesn't understand that we need to be on a budget because baby number 2 is on the way! You are right we need to communicate better and we are trying  to work on that. Thanks again for all the comments!

I believe if it was going to happen  it will it just considence that people are stressed or after a fight etc 
I myself am a stressful  person and if stress causes Mc was true I  do not believe I would be preg ever

I'm going to say it doesn't but I do know it's not good for baby or you! I was extremely stressed out during my whole first pregnancy and everything turned out just fine. I don't know what you guys fought about but you gotta pick and choose your battles. This pregnancy has been a lot less stressful for me but there are still time I have to ask myself "is it really worth getting worked up?".
