Circumcision?

I'm 32 weeks pregnant with a little boy, and we are talking a lot about circumcision.His family has never believed in it but mine always has. It's not super important to me what we decide to do, but my family will judge me. I know I shouldn't let them, but sometimes it's hard. I was just curious what you ladies think about it

Who cares what your family thinks, why would his penis even be in their mind! It’s not theirs.

For me and my husband, we are going to choose for our son to be circumcised. But for you, since u don't care either way, I would tell you to take your husband opinion into account more than your family's because who cares if they judge you for not circumcising YOUR child. Also, it's a lil weird to think your family going to go out it's way to judge your sons penis

If any family members asked me about my son's penis, I would make it clear that they had serious issues. Who thinks about someone else's child's genitals?? 🤷

Both my boys are circumcised. I was with them when they had it done. They hardly cried. I know it sounds like a horrible thing they go through, but I equate it to ear piercing with the amount of pain they actually went through  (very little).
That said, you should not make the decision based on other people's preferences, only what you and the baby's father think. Unless you're Jewish or Muslim and therefore it's a requirement per your family's religious docterine, it's really none of their business.

I left it up to my husband to choose he had no strong opinion either way so we left our son intact. he is now 16.5m and never had a problem with it.
both our families said we should get him circumcised but none of them had a valid reason. also it isn't their penis so....🤷

If anyone asks about your son's penis tell them it's none of their god damn business.

Circumcision is purely cosmetic. Plus it’s his body so you should leave that choice to him for when he’s old enough to consent to it or not. I’m having a boy in June and I’m not allowing circumcision.

Circumcise or not it’s totally up to you! Circumcision is purely for looks, they say it makes a man cleaner to be circumcised but honestly it doesn’t soap and water does lol.  Just be sure to do your research! The part they cut off is essentially the clitoral part of a mans penis and it will benefit his sex life to keep it the way nature made it but you can’t miss what you never had so it honestly won’t make a difference to him in the long run because either way he won’t know anything other then what you’ve chosen for him. 
I personally am leaving my son fully intact and looking forward to not having to deal with cleaning a surgery sight on him and the worry that comes with it such as infection and mishaps due to surgery.

It is 100% your and your hubby’s decision. My sister in law didn’t circumcise her two boys. Her oldest is 4 and the foreskin is too tight around his penis and doctors are saying they will have to circumcise him. She is extremely upset. 😕 I could imagine having this happen at an older age for medical reasons. Yikes.

Do what you want, none of our family asked about his penis condition. We had it done and baby slept thru it and healed fine
