Any mommies stay at home moms ?

Tell me how is it , I’ve been thinking of leaving my job after the baby to spend more time .

I’ve been a stay at home mom since the day my son was born and even while I was pregnant with him. 
There’s pros and cons to being a stay at home mom just as there is being a working mom. 
I’ll give you the cons first I experience and you might if you decide to quit your job... 
1) You might get cabin fever. Bad. Getting out of the house, everyday if you want, helps tremendously. Even if it’s just to take your little outside for some fresh air. 
2) You might feel like you have lost your “purpose” in life. All you do it take care of baby and your home. It can wear on you fast. 
3) You’ll find yourself a little more irritated at your SO when he comes home and looks around at a messy house and ask why it isn’t picked up since you’ve been home all day and “had time” to do it. (thankfully my husband is NOT like that but many husbands do it.) 
Now for the pros! 
1) The obvious one: You get to watch your baby grow up!! You get to see and feel all the small moments. Finally get to nap together. Laugh more together. Eat more than one meal a day together. 
2) You have more free time to meet up with friends who are also stay at home moms. Not too many around but it’s a reason to join a local Mom group on Facebook and make some new friends! 
3) YOU GET TO RAISE YOUR BABY YOURSELF!! What’s not to love?! 
Hope that helps! I’ve been a stay at home mom and wife for a little over two years now and have another baby on the way. Wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I love it, but it’s definitely not for everyone! Most of my friends said they couldn’t wait to go back to work. I think the key is to have a supportive spouse. My husband is very good about letting me have weekly girl nights with my bestie (just a few hours of shopping, dinner, etc once a week), and he takes over most of the baby duties at night when he comes home from work to give me time to shower, cook dinner, and relax. You also need to consider what you will be giving up financially. I was a teacher before having my son so my salary wouldn’t have made a difference compared to the cost of childcare, a 2-hour commute (including wear and tear on the car, gas, etc), tax breaks, and the fact that I wouldn’t get to spend time with my son all day. Some people hate the idea of giving every hour of their life to their children, but if that is appealing to you then you can always try it and go back to work later if you find it’s not for you.

It has its ups and downs. I like not having to pay for daycare and being able to have as much me time as I want but I still miss bringing in money lol.

ive been a stay at home mom for 3 and a half years now and i hope i never have to go back. i dont get stir crazy though like "normal" people. i also had really bad experiences with daycares in the beginning.

I’m a stay at home mom. After your 1st is born it can get quite lonely being home with an infant. But once they start moving it can be fun!! It’s a load of fun once they hit toddler age. I now have a 2yr old and 4 yr old with baby #3 on the way. I’m super busy and couldn’t imagine having to work on top of all the running around I have to do. If you can afford it, it’s the best thing you can do. You never miss out on anything!!!
