Is it infected?

I got my belly button pierced months ago and I’m not sure if it’s infected or not..??? Please help

Pls excuse my belly hair I haven’t shaved in a bit

no mines looked like that for awhile. bactine or dial soap like 3 tonnes a day make sure you move the piercing around when you clean it so the soapy water gets everywhere.

You should probably take the dangly jewelry out if the piercing is under a year old. It is more heavy and can irritate it much more.

I had that it's normal it'll go down eventually. I cleaned mine with salt water and made sure I cleaned it with soap in the shower.

Mine gets like that if my clothes rub against it or my leggings snag on it or their too tight. I would just clean it to make sure though (:

Yup definitely infected. You shouldn't be changing it until it is completely healed. Mine took more than just a few months.. it was close to a year. The dangle part of the jewelry is definitely putting a lot of weight on your piercing and changing it might be the reason it's infected. I would change your jewelry back to original one but make sure to disinfect it good with dial soap or whatever they recommended for it (I always use antibacterial dial and not once did it ever get infected). Also you need to make sure your next purchase of jewelry is surgical stainless steel. I'm not sure if it is or not but thought I'd throw that in there because it's very important.
