Well, we’re not really making any more progress. I thought we would start feeds today but she puked up last night so I thought okay well maybe tomorrow we can! Then daddy was holding her and she spit up all over him. Now we’re waiting to see what the doctor says about putting her NG tube in again so it’s like going back to square one. I feel like she shouldn’t be doing this if there isn’t any more blockage in her intestine 😢 my girls a fighter but mommy can’t take any more worrying ☹️

For anyone not following, my baby girl was born last Monday and put in the NICU Wednesday early morning and had surgery for intestinal atresia. Her intestine didn’t form properly in utero and had a blockage. She has a stoma and we have been waiting for her to “poop” which she did two days ago (yay!) so we thought we could shut off her NG tube draining her belly which worked great until the midnight shift rolled around and she’s been spitting up now ☹️ I just want to feed her and bring her home. Now I can do nothing but worry about my little girl 😢 I feel like it’s all my fault and I hope this is the only issue and we don’t have to open that little baby girl up again 🙁
