Need to vent! No doctor!!
My original doc forwarded my total care to high risk specialists nearly 3 weeks ago and as of today I still haven't been assigned a doctor nor given my next appointment. I've called every day for the last week to try to schedule my next appointment but keep getting sent to a voicemail of someone who just won't call me back and I just don't know what to do. I have many issues that make this a high risk pregnancy but I still don't have a doctor! My old doctor won't see me since my total care has been transferred. I'm having sharp cervical pains (14w1d) for a week and am high risk for cervical incompetentance (among other things). Luckily I'm not bleeding or leaking fluid. Idk what to do. Drive there and camp out at their office until someone gives me an appointment? It's a 45 min drive to see them, they're supposedly the best high risk perinatal docs in the Bay Area but after this experience I feel like I have to go to the er for any prenatal care!!
