And do i apply them directly onto the sores ?im ask if because it burns LIKE HEELLL LIKE THIS IS THE WORST FIRST OUTBREAK

Stay on top of your meds! I wouldn’t put anything on it. Someone else said a bath and pat dry...that’s probably the best solution. Wear cotton undies to wick away moisture and keep air circulating. Take some Tylenol to ease pain. The first is the worst! It will get better from here on out. You will experience outbreaks less and less especially if you suppress with meds.

Vagisil has an anti itch wipe it helps. Best case soak in the tub and when your done pat yourself dry. Even some baby powder helps afterwards. Keep that area dry. First is the worst than they get better believe it or not. Figure out what triggers them and avoid it. Me it’s peanuts and peanut butter. Idk why but that’s my breakout cause. So I avoid it.

The medication will allow sores to go away sooner and possibly not come back. But some ppl do get frequent outbreaks.
