Heart Issues? Beta Blockers?

Question

Have any moms out there been diagnosed with SVT or any heart palpitation issues? I'm a FTM with SVT & I just want to see how labor went.. were you induced? Cesarian? Or did your OB just let you go into labor unassisted? I just want to hear some stories. 
I'll be 35wks tomorrow. & ive just been released from the hospital. I was admitted due to my heart and put on beta blockers.

With my first pregnancy I was diagnosed with SVT and it was super scary... the feeling of not being able to breathe or control it and it happens out of nowhere is terrifying! It kept happening more and more frequently until my 39 week appt when the doctor was checking baby’s HR while I was on my back, I passed out. They sent me to L&D; and decided since my cervix was favorable they were going to induce me. Baby was perfectly healthy and induction was actually not as bad as I thought it would be. Didn’t have any SVT episodes after pregnancy, however I am pregnant again and going thru the same thing. Cardiologist said it’s something that’s just going to happen to me when I’m pregnant unfortunately and might get progressively worse which they’ll talk about beta blockers at that point if it becomes unbearable. Drink plenty of fluids and no caffeine and take it easy. Good luck!!

I had SVT when pregnant, I didn’t get to make it to the cardiologist through.. baby came too early! I delivered at 34 weeks, vaginal birth and super fast labor. Not sure if that puts your mind at ease or not! I did deliver on my side vs laying down though because my heart rate kept spiking.

Going through this right now! This is my third pregnancy and first time I have ever experienced palpitations. I wore a heart monitor for 48 hours and was told that I had 326 ventricular ectopics and 5 SVT's. my cardiologist doesn't seem concerned and assured me that I am fine, this just happens sometimes from all of the extra blood flow. I was not put on any medication though? Praying for you because I know how scary it is!! My heart seems to skip all day every single day but being checked out by a cardiologist was very reassuring. From what I have read online, women with this same issue have no issues delivering so I hope this helps!
