I want to first share my story, I have lost 5 babies.. The first 3 losses were thought to be due to genetic/chromosomal defects. But after my 4th loss they decided to do some tests. Everything came back normal but when they did a vaginal ultrasound they found that I have what they call an Arcuate uterus. My Dr. believes that this is what was causing my miscarriages. Because there is a septum involved, the babies blood supply was being cut off- this was the reasons for my MCs. After my 5th miscarriage we (my partner and I) decided it would be best for me to have surgery and have the septum shaved back so that my uterus would be normal and have more room for implantation and blood supply. My surgery was March 30 this year and I have been placed on a Hormone treatment of Mimvey for 4 months (for healing of my uterine lining). My partner and I will be ready to try again come August.. I'm so scared and nervous. My main purpose of this post was to see if anyone has experienced this or any other uterus abnormality.
