12 week appointment?

On April 4th I have my 12 week appointment. I’m going to be getting a pelvic exam, and I’ve been told I won’t get an ultrasound. I’m fine with that but the next appointment after that  will be the anatomy scan. Will I not be getting the nuchal translucency? I know I should probably ask my doctor this but I don’t want to complain because I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and again at 8 weeks

they shouldn't be doing a pelvic exam this early they should be doing an ultrasound no other exams internally.

I also had my pelvic check along with STD screening and Pap smear. It’s perfectly safe and normal. During that appointment my doctor asked about what genetic testing I’d want to get done, if any. However I’ve been measuring ahead, so my appointments have been earlier than others. My exam was at 9 w 2 d (typically done at 10w) and I’ll be getting the NT testing done after 11 weeks. You have until the 13th week if you want the early test done! I’d just ask and make sure you get an appointment with the ultrasound department before you’re out of the preferred time frame! They won’t let you miss it if it’s something you want to get done. Good luck!

I just had 12 week appt yesterday and they did a breast exam and pelvic exam. They due the NT scam between 11-13.5 gestation. I’m getting mine at 13w 2d. I wasn’t supposed to get an ultrasound yesterday but they couldn’t find the heartbeat and wanted to give me peace of mind and make sure Baby looked good. Turns out Baby was moving around so much that’s why they couldn’t find it. Heartbeat is 169 bpm!!

I had a pelvic down in the beginning of all 3 of my pregnancies,  it's perfectly fine
