Am I too old to get a nose piercing?

I'm 32. I'm a nurse. I'm not supposed to have one at work but I see some nurses with one every now and then. I've had one in the past but I had the hardest time getting it to heal. It fell out while snorkeling and I remember thinking, well I'm just glad to be done with it. And I was just glad that it didn't scar me or leave a bump. whay do you think? Too old to try again?
