Water birth at the hospital??

Is it possible to have a water birth at the hospital?? I know sometimes that have a room accommodated for certain birth plans. When the birth plans go as planned. But is it possible to have a water birth at the hospital?

Depends on the hospital. You’ll have to call and ask. Where I work, you can labor in the tub but cannot deliver in water.

Double check with your ob but you can rent an inflatable tub to birth in if the hospital doesn’t have a tub in the room!

It is possible, it’s entirely up to your hospital. There used to be a birthing tub at our local hospital but it was taken out due to not enough use of it. 
They do have tubs though in each room that you can labor in until your water breaks or it’s time to push. Then they make you move out of it.
