Breastfed and Period ?

I breastfed my son for three weeks I seen if you breastfeed you period usually doesn’t Come and I seen if you don’t at all it comes around 6-8 weeks I’m 7 weeks 3 days pp does anyone have an idea if my period will be delayed bc I breastfed ???

With my first I didn’t get it until I stopped breastfeeding at 3 months. With my second we exclusively breastfed for 27.5 month and I got my period 4-6 weeks after having him. 😭 My supply was much more abundant with my first though so idk if that played a role or not.

It varies enormously... some people gets theirs back immediately and some women go a year or longer without. It often returns relatively soon after you stop breastfeeding, but not always

I didn't get mine back between pregnancies. Still breastfeeding. My first is 15 months and im due in October.

I bled for 6 weeks and then nothing until I got my period when bb was 10 months old cause I started to change the routine.
