Elective cesarean

Hello ladies.

So I’m almost 35 weeks with my 4th baby. (Eldest 20, youngest 10!) anyway, I’ve already previously had two elective cesareans as babies breech and 1 natural

I’ve decided to have this one cesarean also as I’m almost 40 and after huge thoughts about it it was safest option for me personally

Anyway, I still haven’t been given my section date and it’s stressing me out now, they used to give it to you maybe 6/8 weeks before your due date when you saw the consultant but I’ve just been told the hospital calls you directly when you reach around 37-38 weeks!!!! This is ivf baby plus my 4th so chances I could start labour early is pretty high. I’m really uptight.

Is this the case for everyone??
