I’m pregnant with my third child and have never had round ligament pain that stuck around like this. I’ll be 15 weeks pregnant tomorrow and occasionally, only at night, will I wake up with a sharp pain varying from side to side each time it happens that feels like the same exact pain you get when you turn your head back too far/too fast. It hurts so bad that I can’t move until the pain eases up. Well, it happened again yesterday night and since the my left hip has stayed sore. I was told to put some vapor rub on it and massage it and it helps temporarily then the discomfort comes back. I guess I’m kind of concerned.. I have never had this happen.. I was talking to my sister and she said she had severe round ligament pain. I guess I’m wondering if it’s really THAT common? I have thought about just calling my doctor.
