Am I wrong to feel this way?

I announced my pregnancy on Facebook at 6 weeks... so two days ago. Then my sister in law posts the next day (yesterday) and, in a nutshell, basically says oh I am too, except I’m 12 weeks, here’s a sono. She did this to me on my sons pregnancy too. Is it wrong that I’m upset that she did it right after I did?

So you and your sis in law are both expecting at the same time! That’s great! Perhaps she was waiting until later but when you announced she just wanted to say OMG ME TOO! I think that’s so cool you’re both pregnant at the same time! Your parents must be thrilled! Be excited that your little one will have a cousin close in age.

Why should she change her plans when she’s keeping quiet for a whole trimester? She’s just as excited about her baby as you are!! Sounds just like unfortunate timing...it’s easy to feel like you’ve lost the limelight to her but she is 12 weeks, she was probably more annoyed with you that she’d been waiting all trimester to announce and then the day before she does you announce your pregnancy when you probably haven’t even had a scan yet. Congratulations on your pregnancy xxx

If she’s pregnant, she’s pregnant. Don’t let something like this interfere with the joy your family will have with two more additions to your family. It is good news! Be happy for her and yourself.

If I were her I probably would have waited, but since she did it at 12 weeks I feel like she was probably planning it all along and it just happened that way. 
I still probably would have waited, just to not steal any thunder. 
Who knows though. My husband and I got engaged after being together for 5 years and announced it, the next day his younger brother (18 at the time) announced his engagement to his gf of 8 months... and they ended up breaking up 🙄

They suggest waiting until about 12 weeks because the risk of miscarriage decreases. She was probably planning this whole time to announce when she did.

My hubby told me that Elon Musk offered Tj buy and delete Facebook.  I think if he did that we would all be better off! 😝  honestly though, she probably didn’t think you would mind.  I wouldn’t worry about it.

Hi sister, I know it feels bad when someone steals your thunder and it's pretty obvious that she doesn't like you. You need to realize that not everyone is going to be good to you, so you have to decide that they won't get to you. She's clearly jealous of you, she believes you're better than her that's why she does things like that to try and get to your level and put you down in the process. Stop letting her steal your joy, enjoy the baby God has blessed you with and let her be....... And no, you're not wrong to feel that way, just don't let it affect you
