Has my FWB really become my BF?

So I ended a long term relationship in June 2017. I met a FWB in October 2017 whom i was very clear with about not wanting to be in a relationship so our situation has been pretty much amazing sex only. Every so often we’ll go out or watch movies but it usually begins & ends with mind blowing sex! On various occasions he’s called me intoxicated after a night out with the fellas saying sweet little things and telling me I’m his safety net but then backs out saying he’s tripping! He has never brought up his drunk convos while sober or expressed he wants more but certain texts & things he do tells a different story. I’m really not ready to be in a relationship even though it feels like we are because neither of us or seeing other people.
