Is it too soon?

So I'm 18, TTC & I was wondering how long to wait before I should test? The App said I don't have a period this month & that I'm ovulating now but I already ovulated the beginning of the month & had sex on my peak day. I'm just not sure when to test. Online said I can test today. But I've been reading to wait 6 weeks after sex. I'm so confused 😭😭😭
