When to tell your kids?

I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks in dec 2017 and it was hard on my 6 and 4 year old girls. I’m pregnant again and don’t know when to tell them. Part of me feels like they would be so excited but I’m scared of them getting hurt again.

it's really your choice when you want to tell them they say we're supposed to be safe after 12 weeks but that's not always true being you lost your baby at 13 maybe you should wait till 20 weeks that way you can tell them what it is as well I wish you the best and I hope this baby sticks God be with you

If you want to wait until the risk of miscarriage is low because you intend on not sharing with them if that happens (which i totally understand).... I would suggest waiting until your 16 week cervical scan or 20 week anatomy scan to ensure all is well and the risk is very minimal. Congrats! best wishes 💞

its your choice on when to tell them. i am pregnant again after two miscarriages in 2017 and this time i haven't told my kids my oldest is 8yrs old and when i had the first and second miscarriage she cried bad cause she was excited to have another baby brother or sister my other 3youngest didn't get it that well so they didn't pay any attention. so this time i will wait until i start showing as i did with my youngest one she will be very curious and ask why i am getting a big belly as she did with her young brother 😜
