How long does it take?

For postpartum stitches to dissolve? Its 14 days postpartum just wanna know if I’m good to not have to worry about them or if there’s a way I can tell

mine didn't dissolve even after 4 Weeks. My midwife was surprised she needed to remove them.

Do you have a hand mirror you can take a peek at them with? Or are they internal?

I think it's a little different each time. for me some went quickly some till more time. It depends on how bad things are too. 4 babies and the 1st was the worst. The last was the second worst. the 2 in the middle was quick.

I think mine finally dissolved at 11 weeks pp. although my daughter will be 4 months on the 12th and I’m still not fully healed..

I ended up just taking mine out. some of them were partially dissolved so they just broke out for the most part but they kept stabbing me and ripping my labia so I was sick of them. I was about 3 weeks pp when I took them out

Really depends on the person I think and how many you had. I went to my 6 week pp check up and still have one that wasn’t gone yet.
