My doctor has never mentioned it before but I've been reading a lot of women having it done. So I was curious as to what it is and how it work so I can ask my doctor about it at our next appointment since I'll be 39 weeks (I don't want to be induced but baby had been measuring big and for the last week I've been in severe pain, my man is completely against me trying anything to have done to speed up the process of labor because he believes I should just let our son come on his own, but he was already measuring big and most women in my family don't go into labor without some form of help, so I wanted to look into a membrane sweep)
