How to Increase sperm count?

Sigh....DH and I have been TTC for 1 year now... Did 1st IUI 2 weeks ago... At the time count was low ~3 million 1st day and ~1.5 second day... This was a surprise because original semen analysis came back with normal counts... Anyone know of any natural ways to increase sperm count?

I heard maca root capsules not sure if they really work but I guess it's  worth a try.

Well, I'm not sure if there is a natural substance that directly increases sperm count- but! Cod liver oil will definitely improve the quality of the sperm- and your reproductive health. Many people suggest both of you taking them. Plus there are so many other benefits to CLO.
Oat straw infusion (1 c herb to 1 quart water for 4-8 hours, covered to steep) is usually a men's reproductive health choice. It will also improve sperm quality. 
Those are both good starts.
Herbs for you are nettle infusion and red raspberry leaf infusion. Vitex/chaste tree berry are good (really good!) for women's fertility also. Vitex is not for men! 
Fyi, anything you do to improve sperm quality can take about 6 months to fully be effective. This is because the sperm production cycle is quite long- yes, it's replenished every few days- but there are long term processes that take about 6 months. 
Improving sperm quality is a really good start though!
