When was your first appointment??

When i found out I was pregnant i was about 4 weeks and when i called my doctors office they said they would do a blood test first to confirm the pregnancy and thennnn I’ll be able to see her. Is it typically to see your doctor in the 10-12 week mark?

We had an ultrasound at 8 weeks since my LMP. However, we ended up measuring at 7w2d and then met with my OB two weeks later when normally I would’ve been 10 weeks but still measuring 9w2d!

I didn't see my Dr until 10 weeks. They said they start seeing patients between 8-10 weeks. But every Dr is different.

with my first it was around 8 weeks, with my 2nd it was around 6 weeks different OBs I know many people who don't have appointments until 10-12 weeks all just depends on your office

I go Wednesday for my first ultrasound. I'll be 6wks 3 days. I have to go in early due to an ectopic last year though.

I saw my doc at 8 weeks, but I never did confirmation blood work before then. The only reason I had the 8-week appointment was because I miscarried right before this pregnancy, and she needed to date it properly.

Depends on the country. In Australia we don’t see OBGYNs we just see our normal GP first and that’s as soon as we find out. They don’t need to confirm if we’ve had a positive test at home and they order bloods and urine tests to check HCG and everything else then book in a dating scan for about 6-7 weeks. See them after the scan and then get a referral for hospital and choose our mode of care after that (midwife care, shared care with gp and midwife or other if you’re high risk)
