Such an absolutely beautiful day

I absolutely love telling the story. Makes me so emotional to think about. I wish I could explain how much that day meant to me, and just how beautiful it was. I thought I had the flu, and I was worried I hadn’t been feeling my baby move as much lately. I was sick all day that day, and I just knew I had the flu, and NEEDED to go to the hospital. So me and my boyfriend went...with no hospital bag, or anything. Not even phone chargers. Thought I’d be coming home that night....Well we got to the hospital, and they took me to labor and delivery to make sure baby was okay first...They said he looked perfectly fine, and no fever, and only one contraction. So before they were about to send us home they checked me..3cm dilated, and 90% effaced...Well we weren’t going home that night, and the next time I went home I’d be leaving with a baby. At 38 weeks 4 days I was completely shocked, and not expecting it. So my boyfriend went home to get our hospital bag as I was started on pitocin...We got to the hospital at about 6pm and by 5:43am my beautiful baby boy was born. I was so blessed to have a pretty easy, and smooth labor, and not a lot of pushing at all before he was out. I started crying as soon as I seen his beautiful head, and being asked if I wanted to do skin to skin. The most beautiful moment I’ve ever had in my life. I will never forget it. I loved that day. So much. January 25th my beautiful baby boy Kayden Leo was born, he is one of the best things to ever happen to me, and so much love for my baby boy.
