Spouses i have a question for you guys?

My man who's in the army is most likely to deploy in June time for 1 year but, is going to reduce it for 6 months (which he is going to meetings 2 times every week). It is looking like it's going towards his favor of doing less months. We are planning to start a family and we been married for 2 years. Would you guys still try to concieve or wait till your husband finish his deployment?

Eh. I feel like it depends on you. Are you willing to go through parts of your pregnancy alone? The morning sickness, or the back aches? Listening to the heart beat and seeing your first ultrasound by yourself? Some women are fine with that as long as their husband is home for birth. I wasn’t. I wanted to experience everything with him so we waited. But think about it and do what’s right for you. You also don’t know how long it will take to conceive. Some people get pregnant first try, but most take about six months. So consider that as well :) best of luck!

I would personally wait. My husband just left for his 3rd deployment this morning and I am 14 weeks pregnant. Our baby will be 6-7  months old when he arrives home again. He is missing everything! My birth and all the major first milestones. This baby wasnt planned, and I would've definately waited if I were asked. But you must do what is best for your family. :)

We had our 1st child while he was deployed I was twelve weeks when he left. He missed the birth and came home when she was 5 months old. It was hard. Worth it but he missed a lot of things.

I am currently pregnant while my husband is deployed. Not by choice we were the 1% birth control didn't protect. I found out I was pregnant December 23, 2017 and he left January 11, 2018. Fortunately he will be back for our baby boy's arrival. I think it depends on you. I don't think anybody in a committed relationship wants to walk through pregnancy alone you would want to share that with him but it's not impossible and honestly I was kind of happy. I'm staying with my family while he is gone to save us money so I have a great supposed system but it's been really nice to not have him here on the days I feel the ugliest. Pregnancy is beautiful but not everyday do you feel beautiful. The morning sickness, the back aches the fatigue. 
Not to give TMI I miss sex don't get me wrong but it's nice with him being gone because I know there are days I absolutely wouldn't feel like it and even though he's very understanding and would be cool with it as his wife I enjoying giving it to him regardless if I'm 100% wanting it. So that's an upside. 
If I feel ugly he's not here to see. And unless your just super dependent there's nothing throughout the pregnancy I felt like I couldn't do without him. 
The only thing I wish he we're here for were the firsts. First ultrasound, first heartbeat, finding out the gender. I send him pictures and update him on my belly growth but that is one thing we will never get back and won't be the same. 
As far as delivery goes I don't have a clue because my SO will be home. And I'm so happy he will be here for that part. If you feel you'd be fine then do whatever you want and start trying people have done and it and do it everyday.

It depends on if you think you can handle it on your own or may have other family support. I gave birth to my 1st shortly before hubby's 1 deployment; hes gone for 11 months. Its hard on both of us some days and it didn't help that he was in the field about 60% of my pregnancy. Hes now seeing that hes missing out on the little things and our son's 1sts. I do take lots of pics and videos and send them via messenger. I also *kinda* have my mom and dad for support, even though theyre 6 hours away. Its not easy, but its not impossible.

personally I wouldn't because there is always that chance that it'll be a year deployment. I've found hope for the best, but always expect the worst. My my husband is in the navy working up to a deployment and he's gone almost every other month. of course I drew a short straw you could say and got pregnant with twins no less. It's difficult with him being gone and being constantly told all the worse case senieros. my biggest fear is not having him here when the babies come or worse yet not being able to tell him because he's in the Atlantic somewhere with no contact with me or anyone for that matter. I don't regret having them, but I'm a little disappointed that he'll be missing quite a few big moment with them.
