So

I got myself a fancy weight watchers scale today at bed, bath and beyond.

Here are the results from the scale

Weight: 299.9

Fat%: 47.6

Water%: 38.3

Muscle Mass: 29.4

Bone Mass: 7.9

BMI: 53.1

[BC]Mind you I have PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome)

Which includes fun little symptoms such as:

1)Irregular periods. Infrequent, irregular or prolonged menstrual cycles are the most common sign of PCOS. For example, you might have fewer than nine periods a year, more than 35 days between periods and abnormally heavy periods.

2)Excess androgen. Elevated levels of male hormone may result in physical signs, such as excess facial and body hair (hirsutism), and occasionally severe acne and male-pattern baldness.

3)Polycystic ovaries. Your ovaries might be enlarged and contain follicles that surround the eggs. As a result, the ovaries might fail to function regularly.

4)Skin: acne or oily skin

5)Also common: infertility, inappropriate male features, loss of scalp hair, or unwanted hair

Gestational diabetes or pregnancy-induced high blood pressure, Miscarriage or premature birth, Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis — a severe liver inflammation caused by fat accumulation in the liver, Metabolic syndrome — a cluster of conditions including high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and abnormal cholesterol or triglyceride levels that significantly increase your risk of cardiovascular disease, Type 2 diabetes or prediabetes, Sleep apnea, Depression, anxiety and eating disorders, Abnormal uterine bleeding

Cancer of the uterine lining (endometrial cancer)

[B]6)Obesity caused by PCOS (by causing weight loss to be harder) and can worsen complications of the disorder.

I’m 5’3

24 years

[I]I have an Apple Watch and Fitbit for tracking everything

- (Side note) The Apple Watch seems to be more sensitive than the Fitbit.

I use to have my fitness pal but then they had a security breech so I deleted it. (Also I started to be obsessed with my calories... NOT healthy from a mental stand point)

I still have my water minder app

I have Fitbit coach. It seems to be the only “fitness” app with the most free exercises.

[C]Do any of ya’ll have fitness apps you recommend that are at least 70% free

[C]Do you guys have any workout YouTube videos you like

I have not had any health issues before (besides PCOS and obesity caused by it) however towards the end of my pregnancy I developed severe preeclampsia and hypertension. That I had no idea about until my son’s movement slowed (I had a crappy quack doctor who told me not to worry and take a bath ) any way when I went into labor and delivery to be checked on my blood pressure spiked to 150/103. Well I believe the blood pressure issues may have stuck. Some days I will get a killer migraine and when I check my blood pressure it will be in the medium range like 130/80

When I was in my first trimester with my son I weight 260, by the second 265 and by the third 283

Well my son is five months and despite working out and eating healthy I’m gaining weight. I can’t take any medication for PCOS or blood pressure due to me breastfeeding.

[C]If any of ya’ll have PCOS and have a good diet that is working for ya’ll I’d appreciate a suggestion ( my doctor said just to avoid anything white ... which is quite vague)

I’ve tried everything

Following a diabetic diet

Going vegan

Doing keto

Going paleo

Intermediate fasting
