Pronounced like Ella-nee....I kinda like this name but I kinda don't. What are your opinions?

It's cute but I would definitely spell it differently. Everyone will think it's a variation of Elaine.

Personally, I'd spell it Ellany. It probably will still be confused with Elaine-y, but it'd closer to the actual pronunciation.
