I need help 😩

I have a horrible cough that I can’t get rid of, it’s so bad I stay up coughing so much that I throw up and that just makes my throat hurt even worse and there’s not much medicine I can take which sucks. I went to the doctor yesterday but they didn’t do anything but test me for strep and I don’t have that so now I don’t know what to do to get some kind of relief
