Car seat canopies??

Are they a good idea?  Why and why not?? I thought about getting one but I'm not 100% sure yet.

With my first I was weird about random people coming up and trying to touch my baby. I used a blanket as a canopy and people wouldn't be as nosy. I used a coupon code and purchased a NFL canopy and it was only $10. My friend got her regular canopy (not NFL) for Free using the same code. There is always a code out there for these canopies. You just have to google!

I had one and never really used it. A blanket works fine. I also have a car seat that has one on it

I think the only use they really serve is in the winter when it's windy and cold other wise I think they are annoying

Good idea regardless of what kind, I used one for winter except it didn't hang over the Handel it fitted the carseat, it helped better than a blanket because wind wouldnt blow threw it or blow it off. During the summer I used a blanket over top of the carseat it helped keep baby covered especially if you take them into the store, prevent crazy mommy strangers from trying to touch your baby..... yes people do this and think it's okay !..... lol
