Breast Feeding Worries

Je

I’m a FTM with my baby boy due July 5th! ❤️Unfortunately I have to start back to work pretty quickly.. August 13th.

I work as a first grade teacher and am wanting to breast feed my little one for as long as I can make it.

However, I’m already concerned about being able to successfully breast pump because of my work hours.

In my state there are no laws that protect salaried working moms to have a time/place to breast pump.

I leave for work at 6:30... and don’t have a break until 12:55 (which I have meetings twice a week during this time). (6.5 hours straight!) My next break is at 3... and I have meetings 1-2 times a week after school.

I hardly have time to go to the restroom during the day at work and I’m so worried about being able to breast feed or if it would even be a logical option for me with my work schedule.

Are there any other moms out there with these same issues - or who have made busy work schedules work for them to breast feed?

Thankful for any words of wisdom or comfort here! ❤️
