Pregnant after Birth control?

I'm on birth control due to my lack of periods and ovulating. 😩 Doctor told me I could stop after 3 months of taking it and would become pregnant in no time. Could this be true? Also, do I slowly stop taking BC or stop exactly after 3 months?

Finish out your 3 packs of pills and when you take your very last pill you're done. The hormones exit your system quickly that's why they say it's important to take the pill the same time every day. Good luck!
