I’m 28 weeks along and I was in a lot of pain last night, I was cramping underneath my stomach and it was intense pain that would come and go and it radiated to my back. I went to the ER per my doctors recommendation and they sent me to labor and delivery. Doctor said the baby and I are fine, just take it easy. They said it was probably round ligament pain. They did a full exam and made sure my cervix was still closed. I go home and finally get some sleep and I went to work. Not even two hours later I feel the same pain if not worse. It’s accompanied by bleeding (its dark brown blood, not red). Since I bled through my pants I went to go get pads and go to sleep. I heard this can happen after your first exam. Is this normal???
