How normal are bad cramps at 12 weeks?

I’m not bleeding or anything but I do fear somethings going on. It’s been every day for the past couple weeks. They’re terrible cramps that leave me slumped over in excruciating pain. I was thinking it could be a UTI since I always get bad cramps when I need to pee as well but my doctor ruled that out today

You went to the doctor today? Did they say anything? I’m 5 weeks and I’ve been cramping. My dad is an ultrasound tech and he said to drink lots of water and that cramping can be very common. I cramped with my first as well. But if it’s excruciating I would go to the ER.

My doctor told me that if im in serve pain where i am on the floor crying or im bleeding to go to the er . If your in that much pain i would go . But also if you arent drinking enough fluids the cramps can be from dehydration
